From Reining Horses, English horses, Roping horses, Driving Horses, Morgan Horse Farms, Barrell Racing to Throughbred Rescue, the Woodland area is a great horse nooke. Horses are a way of life in all areas of the county for example in the Capay valley you will find the Beautiful Cache Creek Casino Rancheria, Esparto has World Champion and trainer to Joe Montana, Andrew Coates to rural Wooland's World Champion Cutting Horse Trainer Tom Diez. There are probably even more people who just love horses and want to find out where they can get some experience with them.
