Wild Wings Golf Club is a 9 hole public par 36 golf course located 6 miles West of downtown Woodland off Highway 16 (Main Street). The course consists of three par 3's, three par 4's, and three par 5's with many bunkers and 13 lakes found throughout its 82 acres. Their website claims that Wild Wings is "the longest and best nine hole golf course in Northern California," and in 2006 and 2007, Wild Wings was voted "The Best Greens in the Valley" by the Sacramento Bee.

Wild Wings Golf Club offers special discounts through their website. In order to access the "Specials" page of the site, you will need to join the email club and fill out a brief survey (Name, Zip Code, Email Address).

Regular Rates

Regular daily rates are $16 for 9 holes and $26 for 18. The cost increases slightly on the weekends to $19 and $30. Afternoon rates drop to $11 and $16 after 2 pm on weekdays ($16 and $21 on weekends). Other rates for Cart Rentals, Seniors (60+) and Juniors (17 & Under) can be found on the website.

Lessons

Golf lessons are available from Head Golf Professional Scott Matthews and teaching pro Jason Sweet at 1/2 and hourly rates. According to the website, "lessons at Wild Wings are unique and take place on the golf course much of the time to give the player a one on one experience with our PGA professionals."
