Ludy's is the place to go for barbeque. They're famous for their ribs and the back patio is beautiful and has been voted Best Patio Dining In Yolo County.
The menu can be found on their website, but call in and ask for the daily specials or check out the specials board when you go in. The Barbeque Pulled Pork Sandwich is almost always a special, and it's $9.99 for the sandwich and fries. Sandwiches and burgers that are not on their specials board come by themselves so you have to add fries or a different side for $1.89.
They're really good about substitutions or making up a platter for you if what you want isn't on the menu. They also hand out discounts quite often. Kids do eat free on Mondays with the purchase of an adult entree. They also have live music on Friday and Saturday nights.

2007-12-20 11:14:49 Pretty good BBQ. The meat often tastes more like char than smoke. You get a load of salty, spicy curly fries with most orders. A bit of a sugar fixation here - everything is on the sweet side - sweet beans, sweet barbecue sauce, sweet coleslaw (with raisins). Main con: sides are small and relatively expensive. Main pro: atmosphere, and beer glasses shaped like little boots. Oh yeah - kids eat free on Mondays (last time I checked).—GuyKyser
