Now the home to Morrison's Upstairs Restaurant, the Jackson building was an idea conceived by wealthy Woodland physician and investor, Dr. George Jackson in 1891. He wanted to develop an upscale apartment building with commercial shops at a prominent location on the corner of Bush and First St.
