Dr. James Yang is a Woodland CA dentist who graduated from the State University of New York, Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in 2008. Prior to this he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at Columbia University. Dr. Yang completed a one year General Practice Residency at VA McClellan in Sacramento where he received advanced training in periodontics (gum care), implants, oral surgery, and cosmetic aspects of dentistry. Dr. Yang attends numerous continuing educational courses in comprehensive dentistry to stay abreast with the latest in dental care. Among the many professional organizations that Dr. Yang participates are: American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Sacramento District Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, Asian Dental Society. In his spare time he enjoys running (training for a half-marathon), spending time with Quan (wife) and Dylan (son), and a student of industrial design and wine.
