AFES Network Services is one of the longest running local ISPs in Yolo County. AFES Network Services has also won the "Best local ISP" award several times. Starting with dial-up in the late 90's, they became popular among locals and known as the only ISP to offer a telephone number that was toll-free in the Capay Valley. Since dial-up is on it's way out the door, they have moved mostly into long distance fixed wireless connections, serving the more rural areas of
County that cannot get DSL or Cable Internet. Wireless costs $55 / month, plus a setup fee and is subject to availability. Call for details pertaining to your situation.
Wireless is currently known to be provided in the following areas: Esparto, Brooks, Willow Oak, Wild Wings, Woodland (rural areas), Zamora, Knights Landing, and Yolo. It is also available in other areas, but will likely need a site survey.
They also do computer repairs and upgrades. Call for more info.
